In any case, I'm purchasing it and am going to give it a try on my G5's 300 meg hard drive. I think this product is safe and would recommend it to anyone… but if you have absolutely mission critical stuff you need to be careful because if you are defragging and the power goes out you can loose some stuff.

Defragging takes a very long time (especially on the full defrag setting) so you have to schedule your time accordingly and give it 5 hours or so. Now that has been cut down to about 30 seconds or less. It was dramatic, my computer used to take a minute or two to boot. However, now Apple has a defrag app up on their site, called iDefrag. Apple themselves questioned defrag apps, saying in some cases, they actually slowed things down.
